Privacy Policy

SkyCadet is an app made by Faulktek LLC ("we"). This policy explains what we collect when you use SkyCadet at skycadet.app, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions: support@faulktek.com.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and password. Passwords are stored only in scrambled (hashed) form; we can't read them.
- What you do in the app: quiz scores, shot lists, quotes, certification and flight-log entries, and your plan or class access dates.
- Portfolio content: the profile details, job descriptions and photos you add to your portfolio.
- Client and invoice records: the client names, contact details and invoice amounts you enter, and the payment usernames (PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, Zelle) you choose to show on invoices.
- Class sign-ups: the name, email, phone and note you send through the "Reserve your seat" form. We use them only to contact you about the drone class.
- Payments: if you upgrade, Stripe processes the payment. We receive confirmation of your plan and a Stripe customer reference. We never see or store your card number.
- Technical basics: one sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in, and standard server logs from our hosting provider used to keep the service running and secure. We don't use advertising trackers.
What's public
- Your portfolio page is public once you choose to publish it: anyone with the link can see what you put there, including your photos and any email or phone number you choose to show. You can hide it again at any time.
- Invoice links you send are private links: anyone who has the link can view that invoice, so share them only with your client.
- If you joined a drone class, your instructor can see your name, email, quiz scores, access dates and whether your portfolio is published.
How we use it
- To run SkyCadet: sign you in, save your work, show your portfolio and invoices, and unlock the plan you paid for.
- To send account emails, such as a reminder before your student access ends.
- To keep the service secure and fix problems.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with advertisers.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that help us run SkyCadet, and only for that purpose: Cloudflare (hosting, database and photo storage), Stripe (payments) and our email delivery provider. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Keeping and deleting your information
We keep your account and records while your account exists, including after a paid plan or student access ends, so your progress is there when you come back. To delete your account and its data, email support@faulktek.com from the email address on your account.
Children
SkyCadet isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Big changes will also be announced in the app.
