These terms cover your use of SkyCadet, an app made by Faulktek LLC ("we"). By creating an account or using SkyCadet, you agree to them. Questions: support@faulktek.com.

What SkyCadet is, and isn't

• SkyCadet is a study and business tool for drone pilots. It is not the FAA, isn't endorsed by the FAA, and doesn't file anything with the FAA for you.
• Study material, shot lists, photo counts and rule summaries are general guidance. We work to keep them accurate, but rules change. You are responsible for following FAA regulations (including Part 107), airspace rules, local laws and property owners' wishes on every flight.
• Passing SkyCadet quizzes doesn't guarantee you'll pass the FAA knowledge test.

Your account

Give accurate information, keep your password private, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. One person per account.

Plans and payment

• Some tools are free. Full access comes with a drone class (6 weeks from your first sign-in with a class code), a monthly plan ($5.99 a month) or a one-time unlock ($69).
• Payments are processed by Stripe. The monthly plan renews each month until it's canceled. To cancel, or for billing questions, email support@faulktek.com.
• When full access ends, your account moves to the free plan. Your records stay; locked tools unlock again if you upgrade.

Your content

• Your photos, portfolio, client records and invoices are yours. You give us permission to store and display them as needed to run SkyCadet, including showing your published portfolio to the public.
• Only post photos you have the right to share, with the property owner's or client's OK. Don't post anything illegal, misleading, or that invades someone's privacy. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Invoices and payments between you and your clients

SkyCadet helps you create and send invoices, but we aren't part of the deal between you and your client. Clients pay you directly through the payment service you choose. We don't handle that money and aren't responsible for disputes, taxes or collections.

Acceptable use

Don't try to break, overload or get around the security of SkyCadet, access other people's accounts, or use the service to send spam.

No guarantees

SkyCadet is provided "as is." We work to keep it running and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, Faulktek LLC isn't liable for indirect or incidental losses from using SkyCadet, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we do, we'll change the date at the top, and big changes will be announced in the app. Using SkyCadet after a change means you accept the updated terms.
